Cancer sucks and I ride with confidence that it can be beaten!!!
Dear friends of the Pan Mass Challenge,
First and foremost … I truly hope and trust that you, family and friends are healthy and well. I know this can’t be universal thus send my best to those fighting and recovering from something. I also know there is loss out there for which I send my condolences.
Secondly … Thank you for your support over the 8 years of my riding a bike to beat cancer and your support of Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Check out the PMC https://www.pmc.org/ to appreciate what thousands upon thousands of riders, volunteers, and contributors have accomplished. It’s heartwarming to hear stories about new treatments, and cancer breaking discoveries that are saving lives and causing cancer treatment to be less invasive. Your contribution plays an important role!!
Team KristenStrong …
- Tomorrow, riders will begin their 2 day, nearly 200 mile bicycle trip across Massachusetts
- Sadly, Team KristenStrong and I will not be along for the ride
- After 10 years, countless personal accomplishments, tears and laughter, many well-earned beers, a minor heart attack, kidney stone, heat exhaustion, sunburn, several falls and stitches, and over $500,000 raised, the team, most of whom had traveled from Virginia and Maryland enduring crazy logistics, are supporting the PMC in new ways
- I am so grateful that Captain Gary and his family welcomed me in to honor Kristen on this incredibly rewarding introduction to the PMC. Thank you!!
Onward …
- I have registered for the PMC’s Reimagined Ride that was created to thwart COVID’s attempt to slow the PMC’s momentum
- In September, along with as many people who will join me, I will organize a one day, 100 mile Century ride up the coast of New Hampshire, Maine and TBD
- Please let me know if interested … for any number of miles. Ride to accomplish whatever you are comfortable with. Everyone is welcome!
- Cancer still sucks and I ride with confidence that it can be beaten!!!
Please join me again by visiting http://profile.pmc.org/GC0135 to support my quest to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Be healthy,
Greg Corson
