Hi,
Transitions abound in this life, and it could be said that I am on the cusp of several. After riding in 19 straight PMC’s (thank you Bruce Clark), this, my 20th, figures to be my last. If not forever (never say never), then for the foreseeable future.
I have been blessed with many experiences on the PMC road, meeting good people and sharing tales of “what and why”. In that same time, you and I have opened our hearts and our wallets to fund cancer research and patient programs in the hopes of a better today for the patients and a better tomorrow for all of us.
I love the PMC, and I love who, and what, it supports. That said, it’s time for me to take a step back and focus on things closer to home – after riding this August in my 20th PMC, that is.
Together, over 19 years, we have raised $190,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Yup, we’ve been productive, you and I, averaging $10,000 per year. Let’s go out with a bang on #20!
My goal in 2017 is to raise $15,000. Please be as generous as you can. If you'd like to learn more about the PMC (take my slot next year?) go to www.pmc.org.
Thank you!
Chris
If you’ve been touched by a loved one’s cancer or your own, I would like to ride in honor of you, or in honor or memory of your loved one. Please include that name and it will be my privilege to carry it with me on my ride.
