Why I Ride ...,why we all care
<= Mom and the Jones kids, sometime in the early 1960s!
I'm excited to say I'm riding again in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). This will be my 9th PMC and I'm committed to helping the PMC to it's goal of raising money for cancer research. This year I am again riding in memory my Mom who passed away after a battle with cancer over 35 years ago. I'm also riding in memory of family, friends and colleagues who left spouses and children behind after fighting a long hard battle. My goal is to do what I can to prevent the heartache caused by cancer and losing a loved one.
In order to do this, I need your help! The first weekend in August, I will join 5,000 cyclists and ride my bike to raise money for research to fight cancer. 100% of the proceeds raised will go to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, one of the best cancer treatment hospitals and research institutes in the world. My goal is to raise at least $5,000. I hope you will help me knowing you are helping to make a difference for yourself, your family and your friends.
